Effie is full of energy and loves to dance. She goes to dance classes regularly. She's especially keen on contemporary dance but she also studies jazz and is now studying ballet again. Effie has a quiet determination and works really hard to achieve her ambition. She takes after her mother, who died when Effie was a very small girl. Effie's mother was a dancer too. Effie's boundless energy and joie de vivre means she is a pleasure to be with, although you wouldn't want to upset her and be the cause of one of her famous tantrums! She has the artistic temperament which is what enables her to maintain her passion for Dance despite the physical discomfort she often has to endure. Effie is the twin of Poppy, with whom she has a love-hate relationship, as do most sisters! they share a room at Haven Hope, originally their room at the back of the main house overlooked the paddock and the fields beyond, but they've recently moved into one of the brand-new rooms above the stable block.
